As the operations leader, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations at our ResMed Tebrau facility, driving safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing performance. Working closely with cross‑functional teams across Quality, Safety, Facilities, and Engineering, you’ll ensure smooth plant operations, deliver production targets, and champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day production and planning to achieve output targets aligned with quality and cost goals.
• Optimize utilization of equipment, systems, and resources to meet changing production demands.
• Provide technical leadership and problem‑solving support to ensure smooth, continuous production operations.
• Drive compliance with GMP and other quality system requirements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Partner with Maintenance and Facilities teams to ensure all equipment and facilities operate at optimal levels.
• Support site leadership to ensure compliance with local government and regulatory requirements (Labour Dept, DOE, JKKP, Customs, City Council, Bomba, HRD, etc.).
• Manage external contractors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost control, and timely service delivery.
• Promote and sustain a positive workplace safety culture, driving incident reduction and continuous improvement in EHS practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production leaders and engineers to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation and prioritization to meet business targets and timelines.
• Build capability and accountability within the team through effective coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Foster open communication, teamwork, and alignment with ResMed’s core values and culture.

• Monitor and analyze operational performance against key business indicators.
• Provide accurate and timely reports on production and financial performance.
• Work with the management team to align actions and priorities that drive sustainable business growth.

• Strategic leadership with strong operational discipline and a results‑driven mindset.
• Proven experience in people management, coaching, and team development.
• Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities across diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Objective document management software.
• Demonstrated ability to empower teams and align local execution with global priorities.

• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Training or certification in Project Management, Six Sigma, DFSS, or related methodologies.
