Senior Well Integrity & Interventions Engineer
Job summary
A major energy company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Integrity & Interventions Engineer. This role involves ensuring well integrity monitoring, compliance with industry standards, and leading the engineering design for well interventions. The ideal candidate will coordinate operations, prepare intervention programs, and support tendering processes. This position requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, with responsibilities geared towards both onshore and offshore operations.
Responsibilities
- Work with Field Operations to ensure well integrity is monitored and reported as required.
- Ensure compliance with PETRONAS and TotalEnergies standards.
- Lead the engineering design and execution of well interventions.
- Coordinate with subsurface, field operations, and offshore supervisors.
- Prepare intervention programs, equipment readiness, and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor performance, manage deviations and lead optimization initiatives.
- Support tendering and contract management for interventions.
- Liaise with HQ for internal integrity reporting requirements.
