Job summary
A financial services company in Johor Bahru seeks a finance manager to oversee cash flow planning and budgeting. The role involves monitoring accounts, strengthening internal controls, and supervising financial reporting. It requires 8-10 years of finance experience and strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will also lead a team of accountants and may need to travel outstation to meet clients. This position offers an opportunity to enhance financial discipline within the organization.
Qualifications
- At least 8–10 years’ experience in Accounts/Finance with strong exposure to group-level accounting.
- Ability to motivate team members and work effectively with people at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
- Lead cash flow planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Monitor and control monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial policies.
- Supervise preparation of financial statements for accuracy.
- Lead a team of accountants.
