Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT professional to drive WMS implementations, system configurations, and integrations. You will collaborate with operations, PI teams, and external vendors to translate business needs into scalable IT solutions.

The role requires strong SQL, data analysis, reporting skills (Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, SSRS) and experience with BI tools such as Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience implementing and supporting WMS systems in a 3PL environment.
• Strong knowledge of B2B and B2C integration technologies (APIs, data mapping, protocols).
• Excellent reporting skills (Crystal Reports, Jasper Reports, SSRS).
• SQL, data analysis and database design experience.
• Knowledge of VBA, PL/SQL; BI tools like Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead WMS implementation and system configurations.
• Collaborate with business/operation teams and PI teams to translate needs into IT solutions.
• Lead conversations with stakeholders for process mapping.
• Train super users and operations teams; ensure successful UAT.
• Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform application installation and upgrade; integrate with third‑party solutions.
• Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved within SLAs.
• Propose and implement new IT solutions to the business with WMS provider.
• Identify process/system improvements and manage projects as assigned.
• Investigation and resolution of user technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for WMS and other functional implementation (PI- Process Improvement) which include system configuration, build and integration.
• Collaborate with business / operation teams / PI team understand thoroughly their need and issue to translate into IT solutions.
• Responsible of leading the conversation with internal and external stakeholders to perform business and technical process mapping.
• Lead and train super users, operations team on new implementation, and ensuring UAT is a success.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform application installation and upgrade, including configuration and integration with third party solutions.
• Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved within SLAs.
• Perform study and implementation of new IT solutions to the business in a timely and quality manner.
• Propose new modification when required and work with our WMS provider to deliver solution.
• Constantly look for and recommend process / system improvement to business.
• Manage projects as assigned from time to time.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues encounter by users.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies, Information Technology or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting WMS systems, preferably in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment.
• Good knowledge and experience in common B2B and B2C integration technologies (i.e. protocols and message standards, requirements and data mapping, API, visibility tools etc.)
• Excellent in Crystal Report, Jasper Report, SSRS or any other reporting services.
• Excellent in SQL command , data analysis and database design.
• Knowledge of VBA, PL/SQL and Experience in Business intelligent tool. E.g. Power BI will be added advantage.
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP Systems.
