Job summary

DHL IT Services in Cyberjaya is offering an internship in Manhattan WMOS/WMS Technical Support. You will join a global IT team and gain hands-on experience across troubleshooting, ITSM processes, and proactive monitoring using Zabbix.

Candidates pursuing a Bachelor’s in CS/IT with CGPA >3.0 are welcome. The program offers hybrid work and exposure to DHL’s global logistics IT backbone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• CGPA > 3.0 / 2nd Class Upper (Hons)
• Skills: Application & IT Operations Support, Technical Documentation & Troubleshooting, Basic Unix/Linux, SQL, Communication, Problem Solving
• Preferred: Basic SQL & Database Knowledge, Basic Unix/Linux
• English language required
• Internship period of minimum 6 months
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya

Responsibilities

• WMS/ WMOS Technical Support: Structured knowledge transfer on troubleshooting techniques and technical support skills.
• ITIL Framework Essentials: Learn ITSM principles including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Proactive System Monitoring: Hands-on training in Zabbix to monitor and resolve issues before impact.
• Ticket & Task Management: Manage, track, and resolve standard Incidents and SCTASKS within our support ecosystem.

During the internship period, you will be exposed to these areas

• WMS/ WMOS Technical Support: Receive structured knowledge transfer on troubleshooting techniques and technical support skills specific to Manhattan WMOS/ WMS.
• ITIL Framework Essentials: Learn and apply industry-standard IT Service Management (ITSM) principles, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Proactive System Monitoring: Gain hands-on training in Zabbix to monitor systems, identify critical application issues, and resolve them before they impact operations
• Ticket & Task Management: Build practical experience managing, tracking, and resolving standard Incident tickets and SCTASKS within our support ecosystem.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent.
• Current Academic result: CGPA > 3.0/ 2nd Class Upper (Hons)

Hi, my name is Jega and I’m a Team Manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services back in 2007, when I took a role as Application Support Specialist in the Customer Services Department. From there, I moved fast through the company ladder and soon landed a Project Manager role as I was very fascinated with Project Management, deployments, testing and troubleshooting, and Change Management. In 2021, I moved to a management role, being Manager of Team. Together with the strong support of a multinational & diverse team, we are working on our common goal.
