Job summary

Proton in Malaysia is seeking an IT professional to develop, enhance, and maintain logistics, inventory, and warehouse systems. You will support accurate inventory control and smooth logistics operations, integrating SAP, MES, DMS, and interfaces.

The role requires collaboration with business users, strong problem-solving, and hands-on experience with APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools to ensure system reliability and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SAP, Java, and SQL.
• Understanding of APIs, web services, IDocs, RFCs, and middleware.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems or Manufacturing Executions.
• Knowledge of database design, data modelling, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tools such as Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
• Understanding of system issue troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident management.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments, sequencing, material handling automation, and smart warehouse concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.
