Job summary

Radical Internetwork Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Wireman to carry out electrical wiring, installation and maintenance at construction sites. You will ensure safety, read drawings and adhere to project specifications.

You will coordinate with engineers and supervisors, perform testing and inspections, document records, and travel to different sites as required, with overtime when schedules demand.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Possess a valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) Wireman Competency Certificate (PW2 / PW4) will be an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant electrical installation and construction site experience are preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring, cable installation, termination and troubleshooting.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
• Familiar with electrical tools, testing instruments and safety procedures.
• Willing to work at construction project sites and travel when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Responsible, disciplined, safety-conscious and able to work under project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical wiring, installation, termination and maintenance works at construction project sites.
• Perform electrical installation works involving power distribution, lighting, power outlets, cable containment and related electrical systems.
• Install and terminate electrical cables, distribution boards (DB), circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Assist in electrical testing, inspection, troubleshooting and rectification of electrical faults.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, layouts and technical specifications.
• Ensure all electrical installation works comply with applicable electrical safety standards and project requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify electrical defects, hazards and installation issues.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and other technical teams to ensure timely completion of electrical works.
• Prepare daily work updates, testing records and other relevant site documentation.
• Follow all site safety procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Job description

Key Responsibilities
