Radical Internetwork Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a hands-on Technician to assist in installing, testing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, ELV and related construction systems at site locations.

You will help with cable pulling, cabling, CCTV and Access Control, fiber optic installation, and basic testing. The role requires reading technical drawings and working safely on construction sites, with willingness to travel.

Formación

• Minimum SPM/Certificate/Diploma in electrical, electronic, IT, telecommunications or related technical fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with relevant working experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, structured cabling, ELV systems, CCTV, networking or fiber optic installation is an advantage.
• Able to use basic hand tools and electrical/technical equipment.
• Willing to work at construction project sites and travel when required.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Physically fit and willing to perform hands-on technical and site work.
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive and willing to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Perform installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, ELV and related construction systems.
• Assist in cable pulling, cable termination, structured cabling and network infrastructure installation.
• Carry out installation works involving CCTV, Access Control, Door Access, Fiber Optic and other ELV systems as assigned.
• Assist with equipment mounting, installation, configuration and basic testing at project sites.
• Read and understand technical drawings, layouts, schematics and installation instructions.
• Conduct site inspections and report any technical issues, defects or installation discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and other project team members to ensure smooth project execution.

To assist in carrying out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support activities at construction project sites. The Technician is responsible for ensuring all assigned technical works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, drawings and instructions from the Project Engineer or Site Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, ELV and related construction systems.

Assist in cable pulling, cable termination, structured cabling and network infrastructure installation.

Carry out installation works involving CCTV, Access Control, Door Access, Fiber Optic and other ELV systems as assigned.

Assist with equipment mounting, installation, configuration and basic testing at project sites.

Read and understand technical drawings, layouts, schematics and installation instructions.

Conduct site inspections and report any technical issues, defects or installation discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.

Ensure all installation works comply with project requirements, technical standards and safety procedures.

Maintain tools, equipment and materials in good working condition.

Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and other project team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare daily work updates and assist in completing installation checklists, testing records and other site documentation.

Perform other technical and site-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements
