Job summary

Pestec International Berhad (formerly known as PESTECH International Berhad) is seeking a responsible Wireman to support electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the KVDT2 project in Shah Alam.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PW2–PW4 wireman competency certificate and has at least 1 year of hands-on wiring experience, with good communication and problem-solving skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid wireman competency certificate PW2–PW4 issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga or recognised institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical wiring and installation activities.
• Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot electrical issues on site and coordinate with the TPS Supervisor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the TPS Supervisor in wiring activities per the approved scope of work for the KVDT2 project.
• Perform hands-on wiring activities and understand work requirements and procedures.
• Carry out domestic electrical wiring installations at Electrification Control Buildings at FS, MPTSL, and TSL.
• Complete all wiring tasks according to the project plan and schedule.
• Assist in electrical troubleshooting and resolving issues on site.
• Support daily TPS operations and other tasks as instructed by supervisors.

Job description

We are seeking a responsible Wireman to support electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting for the KVDT2 project.

Key responsibilities

• To assist the TPS Supervisor in carrying out wiring activities in accordance with the approved scope of work for the KVDT2 project.


• To perform hands-on wiring activities and demonstrate a clear understanding of the work requirements, responsibilities, and applicable procedures under the KVDT2 project.


• To carry out domestic electrical wiring installations at the Electrification Control Buildings at FS, MPTSL, and TSL.


• To complete all assigned wiring activities according to the approved work plan and project schedule.


• To assist the TPS Supervisor in performing electrical troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues at the project site.


• To support the TPS Supervisor in daily TPS operations and carry out other assigned tasks in accordance with instructions.

What we're looking for

• Holds a valid wireman competency certificate (PW2–PW4) issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga or relevant recognised institution.


• Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical wiring and installation activities.


• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues at site in coordination with the TPS Supervisor.


• Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and clients.


• Has sound technical knowledge and practical skills in industrial electrical wiring, control panel wiring, installation, and troubleshooting.
