Job summary

Radical Internetwork Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities in Malaysia, with responsibilities including coordinating on-site teams, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in construction management or related fields, plus proven experience in site supervision. On-site work is typical, with potential overtime and travel between Penang, KL, or other locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience as a site supervisor or similar role in construction.
• Certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, or other safety training (regional requirements).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day site operations to ensure the project progresses according to plan.
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Supervise and manage site workers, subcontractors, and other on-site staff.
• Allocate tasks to team members and ensure their productivity.
• Provide on-site training and guidance to team members as needed.
• Inspect work to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Identify and address defects or inconsistencies promptly.
• Enforce safety regulations and health and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to minimize risks.
• Coordinate delivery and storage of materials and equipment.
• Maintain detailed site logs and report progress to the Project Manager.

Maintain detailed site logs, including daily progress, workforce attendance, incidents, and equipment usage.

Report project progress and challenges to the Project Manager.

Quickly address and resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction.

Liaise with contractors and suppliers to resolve conflicts.

Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, ensuring their concerns are addressed professionally.

Provide updates on project milestones and timelines.

Work location will be flexible : Penang, KL or other places

CORE COMPETENCIES

Education: Diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: Proven experience as a site supervisor or in a similar role in the construction industry.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, or other safety training certifications (depending on regional requirements).

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Solid understanding of construction processes, equipment, and materials.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.

Majority of the time is spent on-site, requiring physical activity and exposure to various weather conditions.

May involve overtime, weekend work, or working irregular hours based on project requirements.
