Job summary

AEON Wellness in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Shop Manager to lead our retail operations at AEON Mall KL Midtown and inspire a high-performing team. You will drive sales, coach staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain stock integrity.

Responsibilities include daily store management, KPI reporting, merchandising to company standards, and enforcing SOPs and safety rules. The role requires strong leadership, shift planning, and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of retail supervisory or management experience, preferably in pharmacy, health & beauty, personal care or FMCG retail.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
• Customer-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Good business acumen with the ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
• Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient business performance.
• Lead, coach, motivate and develop the store team to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience for every customer.
• Monitor sales performance and implement action plans to achieve monthly sales targets.
• Ensure products are well displayed, adequately stocked, and merchandised according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory control and minimize stock losses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety standards and operational procedures.
• Prepare store reports, monitor KPIs and analyze business performance.
• Build a positive working culture while maintaining high employee engagement.
