Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor-Warehouse Assistant to manage daily incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate records and smooth movement of goods. The role involves coordinating with production and logistics, maintaining 5S standards, and safety in handling materials.

The successful candidate will have warehouse experience, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
• Experience in incoming and outgoing warehouse operations is preferred.
• Able to perform physical work and handle materials safely.
• Forklift licence/experience is an added advantage.
• Manufacturing experience, especially in a corrugated carton/packaging environment, will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily incoming and outgoing warehouse operations.
• Receive, check, count and record incoming raw materials and goods.
• Arrange and store materials properly according to warehouse procedures.
• Prepare and issue raw materials, WIP and finished goods as required.
• Perform picking, packing, loading and unloading of goods.
• Ensure accurate stock movement and proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing items.
• Assist in stock counting, inventory checking and stock reconciliation.
• Follow FIFO practices and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing and Logistics for smooth movement of materials and finished goods.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety and 5S standards.
• Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely, if required.
• Report any damaged goods, stock discrepancies or inventory issues to the superior.
• Follow company SOPs, safety rules and warehouse procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
