Job summary

Shopee Malaysia seeks a warehouse operations lead to oversee inbound, outbound and inventory management. You will ensure accurate receiving, proper put-away, precise picking/packing, and timely dispatch while maintaining clean, organized areas.

You’ll drive cycle counts, investigate variances, and implement FIFO/FEFO with WMS/ERP usage. The role requires a Diploma in Business or related field, strong communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and proven leadership in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is preferred.
• Experienced in warehousing / fulfillment operations would be preferred.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English will be added as an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills, promoting collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

Working pattern & location:

• Working hours pattern: 45 working hours weekly, rotational shift schedule, overtime if required
• Working location: Sungai Jawi, Pulau Pinang

1. Inbound

• Manage the efficient and accurate receiving process, ensuring timely acceptance of all incoming shipments (e.g., finished goods, packaging).
• Verify product quantities, condition, and documentation against purchase orders/shipping documents.
• Oversee efficient and safe put-away of received inventory into designated storage locations.
• Manage dock scheduling and coordinate with carriers for efficient unloading and turnaround.
• Identify and resolve receiving discrepancies (e.g., damaged goods, missing items, incorrect shipments).
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.

2. Outbound

• Oversee the accurate and efficient picking and packing of customer orders.
• Ensure order accuracy and quality packaging to meet delivery standards.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers for timely dispatch and manage shipping documentation.
• Monitor outbound shipments for on-time delivery and address any delivery exceptions.
• Manage return processing and re-stocking of returned items.
• Maintain a clean and organized outbound processing area.

3. Inventory Management

• Lead cycle count activities and continuous inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy (target 98%+).
• Investigate and resolve inventory variances, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Implement and enforce inventory control processes (e.g., FIFO, FEFO) to minimize shrinkage and obsolescence.
• Manage stock locations, re-slotting, and space optimization.
• Utilize WMS/ERP systems for real-time inventory tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with planning teams on inventory forecasting and demand planning as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is preferred. Others with transferable skill sets are welcomed to apply.
• Experienced in warehousing / fulfillment operations would be preferred.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English will be added as an advantage.
• Strong leadership skills, promoting collaboration and teamwork across different departments/stakeholders.
• Intermediate computer skills such as Excel/GSheet.
• Plan for manpower hiring during campaign days.
