Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily logistics and warehouse operations in Johor Bahru. The role offers a monthly salary up to RM5,500 plus AWS, variable bonus, medical benefits and 14 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent required.

Job description

Working hours : Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 6.00pm

Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to RM5,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Medical Benefits + 14 days annual leave

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist the Assistant Manager, Operations in overseeing smooth daily operations.
• Lead the team to achieve department KPI goals.
• Prepare, maintain, and update documentation to meet account requirements and changes in customer needs.
• Ensure work processes comply with documented procedures and maintain proper housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Ensure timely processing of all inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain operational efficiency and ensure timely completion of warehouse activities.
• Supervise and monitor employee performance, ensuring adherence to standard practices and proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Provide on-the-job training to warehouse staff.
• Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Update WMS for stocks return and follow-up system updates for closeout items.
• Manage inventory accuracy through planned cycle counts, monthly reconciliations, inventory analysis and relevant reporting.
• Report any warehouse irregularities to the Assistant Manager, Operations.
• Ensure warehouse safety and security measures are in place and adhered to.
• Support the Assistant Manager, Operations in the implementation of work improvement projects.
• Liaise with customers regarding operational and service-related matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager, Operations.

Requirement

• Minimum SPM, Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in warehousing and logistics, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in inbound, outbound, inventory control, cycle count and warehouse operations.
• Familiar with WMS updates, stock reconciliation and warehouse documentation.
• Able to lead warehouse staff, monitor performance and support operational KPIs.
