Job summary

Promooi Plastic Industries in Malaysia (Penang region) is seeking a Store Department Head to oversee the store and warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, and movement of materials and finished goods.

You will maintain optimum inventory levels, minimize losses, and provide timely materials to Production, Maintenance, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments, while upholding 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management.
• Experience with FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
• Familiar with ERP/WMS or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management and control of store and warehouse operations.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and accurate stock records.
• Minimize inventory losses and discrepancies; ensure timely materials to Production, Maintenance, Quality, Purchasing and other departments.

The Store Department Head is responsible for the overall management and control of the company's store and warehouse operations. This position ensures the accurate receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, and movement of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, consumables, work-in-progress, and finished goods.

The Store Department Head must maintain optimum inventory levels, ensure accurate stock records, minimize inventory losses and discrepancies, and provide timely materials to Production, Maintenance, Quality, Purchasing, and other departments.

Candidate should have good knowledge of:
