Job summary

MERITAR SUPPLY CHAIN MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the Proton City facility in Perak. You will supervise teams, manage inventory and ensure FIFO, 5S and safety standards align with customer production and logistics requirements.

The role calls for minimum 3 years in warehouse/logistics management, solid knowledge of WMS/ERP systems, and strong communication skills in English. 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week, with Sundays as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
• Supervisory experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
• Experience with WMS, ERP or inventory management systems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English and ability to communicate with Chinese colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, staging, loading and shipping activities.
• Monitor Team Leaders and warehouse personnel, including manpower allocation, task assignment and work progress.
• Ensure FIFO, inventory control, stock accuracy and warehouse organization.
• Ensure the WMS is functioning properly, well-maintained and updated with timely follow-up on issues.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and prepare relevant operational reports.
• Ensure effective shift handover and communication between warehouse teams.

Salary: up to RM3,800 per month
Working Schedule: 12-hour shift | 6 days per week
About the role

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations at our facility in Proton City, Tanjung Malim. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising warehouse activities, managing team performance, maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring smooth warehouse operations in line with customer production and logistics requirements.

Key responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, staging, loading and shipping activities.

Monitor Team Leaders and warehouse personnel, including manpower allocation, task assignment and work progress.

Ensure proper implementation of FIFO, inventory control, stock accuracy and warehouse organization.

Ensure the WMS is functioning properly, well-maintained and accurately updated, with timely follow-up on any system issues or discrepancies.

Monitor warehouse activities according to daily customer production and delivery plans.

Ensure compliance with 5S, safety requirements, SOPs and standardized warehouse procedures.

Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Coordinate with customers, transporters, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Monitor warehouse productivity and operational KPIs, and prepare relevant operational reports.

Ensure effective shift handover and communication between warehouse teams.

About you

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse, logistics, supply chain or manufacturing operations, with at least supervisory-level experience.

Experience in supervising warehouse teams and managing day-to-day warehouse operations.

Good understanding of inventory management, FIFO, 5S and warehouse safety.

Experience with WMS, ERP or inventory management systems will be an advantage.

Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Able to communicate effectively with Chinese colleagues and management.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Willing to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week, including Sundays when required.
