Job summary

The Private Advertiser is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for our automotive warehouse within a manufacturing plant facility. You will oversee daily order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics workflows while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will lead floor teams, optimize storage strategies, and maintain high standards for shipping accuracy and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in warehouse operations or distribution, with ≥1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP, Manhattan, or Oracle.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; MS Word and PowerPoint are a plus.
• Forklift operator certification is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Formal education: SKM certificate or higher (Diploma/ Degree).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule shift personnel; monitor performance.
• Direct receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Lead cycle counts and audits; investigate stock discrepancies using WMS.

Job description

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor oversees daily order fulfillment, inventory management, and logistics workflows in our automotive warehouse within the manufacturing plant facility. This role ensures safety compliance, leads floor teams, optimizes storage strategies, and maintains high standards for operational efficiency and shipping accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule shift personnel (inventory clerks, operators, forklift operators). Monitor daily performance metrics and conduct routine staff reviews.
• Direct daily receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatch operations to ensure on-time delivery schedules.
• Lead cycle counts, audit stock locations, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain accuracy using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Enforce OSHA standards, safety protocols, and proper equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks). Maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Identify bottlenecks in warehouse workflows, recommend lean layout improvements, and streamline picking/packing paths to reduce transit time.

Requirements

• 2+ years in warehouse operations or distribution, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Proficiency with WMS platforms (e.g. SAP, Manhattan, Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office tools specially MS Words, MS Excel & MS Powerpoint will be an advantage
• Valid forklift operator certification will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• SKM Certificates, Diploma, or Degree will be preferred.
