Job summary

Leschaco (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Klang to oversee daily activities ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations. You will coordinate inbound/outbound processes, manage stock counts, and support the warehouse team to meet targets.

The role requires 3+ years in warehouse operations, familiarity with WMS/SAP, and the ability to supervise both company and contract staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Warehouse Management.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations.
• Experience with inbound, outbound, inventory control, picking, packing and delivery coordination.
• Familiarity with WMS, SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, packing and VAS.
• Plan and coordinate loading activities for local, outstation and ad-hoc deliveries.
• Ensure SOPs, EHS policies and company requirements are followed.
• Conduct cycle counts and regular stock checks; assist in annual stock takes.
• Perform regular safety and housekeeping inspections and EHS drills.
• Manage inbound/outbound documentation with Warehouse Admin team.
• Monitor staff discipline and PPE compliance for company and contract staff.
• Identify operational issues and escalate to Warehouse Manager when needed.
• Verify stock movements by quantity, batch, packaging, labeling and docs.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities and ensure smooth, safe and efficient warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, monitoring inventory movements, ensuring compliance with SOP and EHS requirements, and supporting the warehouse team in achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations including Inbound, Outbound, Putaway, Picking, Packing and Value-Added Services (VAS).

Plan and coordinate loading activities for local, outstation and ad-hoc deliveries.

Ensure all warehouse operational processes are carried out in accordance with SOPs, EHS policies and company requirements.

Participate in cycle counts, ad-hoc stock counts, annual stock counts and other physical inventory management activities.

Conduct regular warehouse safety and housekeeping checks, including monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency showers, fire hose reels, spill kits, sand pails and external warehouse areas.

Participate actively in EHS training, initiatives, emergency response team (ERT) activities and in‑house drills.

Ensure proper management, checking and handover of inbound and outbound documentation to the Warehouse Administration team for recording and filing.

Monitor the discipline and performance of company and contract staff, ensuring compliance with PPE, housekeeping and other EHS requirements.

Identify, report and resolve operational issues related to warehouse and distribution services, escalating significant matters to the Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Executive where required.

Verify inbound and outbound stock movements, including quantity, batch, packaging condition, labelling and documentation.

Prepare incident reports for damaged stock, discrepancies and other warehouse-related incidents.

Ensure proper handling and daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including completion of checklists and prompt reporting of faulty equipment to suppliers.

Perform WMS / SAP or customer system data entry accurately and in a timely manner.

Work closely with other departments to support smooth warehouse and distribution operations.

Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management is an added advantage.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL or distribution environment.

Experience in managing inbound, outbound, inventory control, picking, packing and delivery coordination.

Good understanding of warehouse SOPs, inventory management and EHS requirements.

Experience in handling MHE and warehouse safety practices.

Familiarity with WMS, SAP or other warehouse/customer management systems.

Good communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.

Able to supervise both company and contract warehouse staff.

Hands‑on, responsible and able to work independently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Willing to participate in stock counts, audits, EHS activities and operational activities when required.
