Job summary

Advanced Energy Management Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage a team of 60–100 Material Handlers across Receiving, Storage/Putaway, Kitting, Inter-Site Shipments, and Inventory control. The role emphasizes accurate data, timely execution, and continuous process improvement.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of supervisory experience, strong SAP/WMS skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and develop large warehouse teams.
• Experience in improving inventory accuracy and KPI monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/WMS systems and materials flow.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of 60–100 Material Handlers, providing guidance and scheduling tasks.
• Improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and workforce efficiency.
• Coordinate cross-site communications and collaborations to meet deadlines.
• Solve problems and drive timely receiving, putaway, kitting, and shipments.
• Monitor performance and conduct evaluations; implement improvement actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and 5S standards; manage escalations to HR.

Job description

The candidate is responsible to lead, plan, manage and own the performance of warehouse workforce on all the activities and diligent execution of Receiving, Storage/Putaway, WO Kitting, Inter-Site Shipments, External Warehouses, Inventory Accuracy (both quantity & storage location) and FG Shipments tasks effectively and efficiently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises day-to-day operations of assigned team members, providing guidance, scheduling tasks, and ensuring work output meets quality and performance standards.
• Continuous improvement of warehouse processes, inventory management (accuracy), warehouse tools/systems enhancement and efficiency of the workforce.
• Cross function and inter-site communications and collaborations.
• Problem solving capability.
• Ensure the warehouse workforce execute the timely receiving transactions (physically & electronically), putaway accurately, supply WO material kits to production timely and outbound shipments prepared & shipped out on time.
• Talents retention and development.
• Responsible for monitoring individual and team performance, conducting evaluations, and initiating performance-related discussions and improvement plans.
• Has authority to issue warnings and recommend disciplinary actions, including escalations to HR or higher management when needed.
• Warehouse operations’ performance indicators (KPIs).
• Daily and weekly warehouse inventory value monitoring, control and escalation.
• Daily collaboration with Planning & Purchasing Departments to monitor and control incoming inventory.
• Minimally, to present monthly forecast on workforce and storage space analyses to align with business needs.
• Travel may be required.
• Adhere to organizational requirements on quality management, health and safety, code of conduct, legal stipulations, environmental, 5S policies and general duty of care.
• Regularly accesses confidential workforce information such as scheduling decisions, manpower planning, disciplinary records, and business priorities.
• Other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to present ideas in a structured and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.
• Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of 60~100 Material Handlers.
• Ability to organize, schedule, coordinate, and negotiate effectively and to set priorities in a manner which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment.
• Proficient experience of SAP warehouse module.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of demand-based manufacturing systems.
• Strong Leadership to drive warehouse workforce to achieve the desired performance excellence and to initiate problem solving forum with cross function and inter-sites’ peers and leaders.
• Multi-Tasking capability .
• Ability to motivate the workforce to enhance their morale.
• Ability and proactive to engage and effectively resolve conflict situations and employee disciplinary and performance issues.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3 - 5 years of warehouse supervisor experience.
• Experience with proper handling of static sensitive material preferred.
• Experience in MRP system, WMS and SAP is mandatory.

EDUCATION:

• B ach elor Science in Business Administration, Production/Operations Management (or closely related field).
