Job summary

Tasco Berhad is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily warehouse operations within our distribution center in Malaysia. You will coach staff, manage workflow, and drive KPI attainment.

The role requires hands-on leadership to oversee inbound/outbound processes, ensure accuracy in orders, and train new hires on SOPs while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution center experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team-leading role.
• Experience in FMCG/3PL/e-commerce preferred.
• Diploma or certificate in Logistics or related field is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Team supervision: assign daily tasks to team members and monitor productivity targets.
• Oversee inbound and outbound processes, identify bottlenecks and improve turnaround times.
• Quality assurance: ensure 100% accuracy in picking/packing; investigate discrepancies.
• Training & development: train new hires on SOPs, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Inventory management: lead cycle counts and investigate stock variances.
• Reporting: prepare daily productivity reports and communicate issues to Warehouse Manager.
• Safety compliance: enforce safety regulations and conduct routine safety checks.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily operations and drive productivity within our distribution center. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage workflow, coach staff, and ensure KPIs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Allocate daily tasks to team members (picking, packing, receiving) and monitor performance to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Operational Flow: Oversee the inbound and outbound processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve turnaround times.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure orders are picked and packed with 100% accuracy; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Training & Development: Train new hires on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Inventory Management: Lead cycle count initiatives and investigate root causes of stock variances.
• Reporting: Prepare daily productivity reports and communicate issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular safety checks on equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

1. Educational Qualifications:

• A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is an added advantage.

2. Work Experience:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
• At least 1 year of experience
• Experience in the specific industry (e.g., FMCG, 3PL, e-commerce, Manufacturing) is highly preferred.
