Job summary

3 Point 8 Art & Creative in Balakong, Selangor is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee inventory control, storage capacity, safety, equipment and team performance. You will drive efficient material flow across the company and lead the Warehousing team to meet daily targets.

The role requires 5–7 years of warehouse/logistics experience with supervisory exposure, strong Excel skills and knowledge of 5S/Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics or related field.
• 5–7 years warehouse/logistics experience with supervisory exposure.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and optimize warehouse layout, racking systems and zoning to maximize storage capacity and ensure smooth material flow.
• Lead inventory control activities, schedule cycle counts and annual stocktakes, and investigate major stock discrepancies or shrinkage.
• Ensure warehouse safety requirements are followed and manage maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Coordinate with Procurement on incoming shipments and forecast material storage and dispatch requirements.
• Monitor warehouse operating costs including overtime, equipment repairs and consumables, and support staff performance appraisal.
• Oversee daily receiving, storage, stock movement and material dispatch activities.
• Maintain and improve warehouse SOPs and work processes.

• Ensure warehouse safety requirements are followed and manage maintenance schedules for forklifts, pallet jacks and other Material Handling Equipment.
• Coordinate with Procurement on incoming bulk or high-value shipments and work with relevant departments to forecast material storage and dispatch requirements.
• Monitor warehouse operating costs including overtime, equipment repairs and consumables, and support staff performance appraisal.
• Oversee daily receiving, storage, stock movement and material dispatch activities.
• Monitor damaged, obsolete, slow-moving, excess and returned materials.
• Supervise and guide Warehouse Executives and Assistants in daily operations.
• Ensure proper stock arrangement, labeling, documentation and inventory records.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs, stock accuracy and operational performance.
• Maintain and improve warehouse SOPs and work processes.
• Lead 5S, Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Identify warehouse operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Report major warehouse issues and improvement recommendations to Management.
• Any other duties assigned by the Superior/ Management from time to time.
