Job summary

DHL in Kuah, Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations on site. You will manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping, while ensuring processes meet customer requirements and performance targets.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for growth within the DHL Supply Chain network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, business admin, engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of warehouse or logistics operations experience.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience managing large warehouse operations and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Ensure processes are executed efficiently to meet customer and business requirements.
• Monitor warehouse performance and implement action plans to achieve targets.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and storage capacity.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper inventory control practices and compliance with stock procedures.
• Monitor slow-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to team members.
• Manage manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Drive employee engagement and foster accountability and teamwork.

Requirements

• Experience in 3PL, manufacturing, FMCG, healthcare, or retail distribution environments is preferred.
