Job summary

DHL is seeking a Senior Warehouse Operations Lead based in Johor Bahru to drive performance across contract logistics. You will lead and develop large teams, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and act as a key advisor on warehouse operations.

You will coordinate resource planning, KPIs, and customer relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams on budgets and financials. A Diploma or Degree and strong English are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in contract logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing medium to large-sized teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge and experience in Free Zone and bonded warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
• Willing to be based in Johor Bahru (Senai/PTP/Tebrau).

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate operational teams to achieve business and operational objectives.
• Plan and manage warehouse manpower and equipment resources in line with operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including operational, safety and security requirements.
• Train and develop subordinate staff on job responsibilities, operational procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Act as the primary operational advisor to the management team on warehouse and operational matters, including problem-solving and escalation of significant issues.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to support the establishment, maintenance and continual improvement of the quality management system.
• Monitor and continuously improve contract KPIs and overall service performance.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure agreed service standards are consistently achieved and continuously improved.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage contract financials, including budgets, P&L, revenue streams and operational costs.
