Job summary

VERTIV (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced logistics and warehouse professional to manage internal materials flows, warehousing at multiple sites, and the timely delivery of final products.

The role emphasizes Kanban, Milk Run, and 2-Bin systems to optimize stock and reduce discrepancies. The candidate should have 4+ years in manufacturing/logistics, a technical or economics degree, and strong English skills, with proficiency in MS Office and MRP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing and logistics.
• University degree in a technical or economic field.
• Proficient knowledge of the English language.
• Proficient user of Windows and MS Office.
• Proficient user of MRP systems.
• Experience in problem-solving and project management.
• Knowledge of lean tools.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, excellent presentation and communication skills, and capability for conceptual and long-term planning.

Responsibilities

• Organization of warehouse activities in 3 sites and aligning a structure.
• Organizing warehouse deliveries – coordinating trucks, monitoring deliveries from X docks, suppliers, and KANBAN deliveries.
• Communication with DHL and the logistics manager.
• Organizing material stocking and managing storage locations.
• Setting up/implementing 2 Bins, Kanban, and Milk Run management.
• Managing cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
• Monitoring stock levels in the warehouse based on the physical state of materials.
• Establishing material flows based on slow-moving items and unused material analysis.
• Coordinating waste management in collaboration with the EHS department.
• Managing scrap locations and coordinating external warehouses.
• Implementing Red Bins in the warehouse and ensuring information flow between warehouse and production.
• Managing Kanban, Red Bin, and Milk Run processes and internal transportation.
• Overseeing material receipt from the warehouse and ensuring material delivery to production lines.
• Managing workshop waste to designated areas and visualization of material management in production.
• Managing spare parts and accessories and packaging finished goods.
• Monitoring the closure of work orders and communicating with production.
• Collaborating with DHL, logistics department, and inventory analysts; performing NC analyses and implementing corrective/preventive action plans.
• Carrying out all other tasks related to the agreed type of work as directed by the immediate supervisor.
• Adhering to integrated management system procedures and ITC international trade rules.
• Contributing to standards focusing on customer satisfaction, company culture, and continuous improvement.

Job description

Manage internal logistics, from receiving materials and related documentation through all internal flows, including storage in internal and external warehouses, to the shipment of final products.
