Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan & Perundingcara Bright Prospect Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch, while leading a team to achieve high performance.

You will ensure inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, and adherence to SOPs, reporting through TRS/WMS, and coordinate with internal departments and logistics partners to ensure timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics planning, FIFO, and WMS/TRS/ERP.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery coordination.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence, productivity, safety, and service standards.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, FIFO compliance, warehouse SOP adherence, and accurate warehouse reporting (TRS/WMS).
• Monitor KPIs (inventory accuracy, productivity, order fulfilment, loading/unloading) and drive continuous improvements.
• Manage resources and operating costs within budget while maintaining efficiency.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, damaged goods, supplier issues, and escalations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, health & safety standards, statutory regulations, and audits.

Job description

Preferrably with experiance in the Retail Chain-Store Distribution Industry.

Accountable for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch, and delivery coordination.

Lead, coach, and develop the Warehouse Team Leaders and warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence, productivity, safety, and service standards.

Ensure inventory accuracy, stock control, FIFO compliance, warehouse SOP adherence, and accurate warehouse reporting (TRS/WMS).

Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, productivity, order fulfilment, loading/unloading efficiency, and implement continuous process improvements to optimize warehouse operations.

Manage warehouse resources and operating costs within the approved budget while maintaining operational efficiency.

Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely deliveries to retail outlets.

Investigate and resolve operational issues, including stock discrepancies, damaged goods, supplier issues, inventory shortages, and other escalations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety standards, statutory regulations, and audit requirements, while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in the wholesale & retail (Food & Beverages), FMCG, or distribution industry.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics planning, FIFO, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS/TRS/ERP).

Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.

Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
