EZYTRONIC SDN BHD is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor in Malaysia to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks. You will supervise receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch, while maintaining inventory accuracy and accuracy of records.
The role requires 3+ years in warehousing, experience with ERP/WMS, staff leadership and strong Excel reporting skills. A 5.5-day work week applies, with overtime during peak periods.
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring all daily tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Plan, coordinate and supervise receiving, unloading, checking, GRN, put-away, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch activities.
Ensure all incoming goods are properly checked against PO, DO, quantity, model/part number, serial number and physical condition before GRN and storage.
Ensure outgoing orders are accurately picked, checked, packed and dispatched according to the required delivery schedule.
Manage warehouse manpower and allocate daily duties according to workload and priorities.
Conduct and supervise cycle counts, stock takes and inventory reconciliation, and investigate any stock discrepancies.
Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, stock traceability and proper documentation.
Monitor stock movement and ensure products are stored systematically with proper location/bin control.
Handle and resolve operational issues independently, including stock discrepancies, damaged goods, missing items, urgent orders, receiving issues, delivery delays and manpower constraints.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, Finance and Delivery/Logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Monitor daily pending jobs and ensure there are no unnecessary carry-forward tasks. Urgent or outstanding work must be completed before closing where reasonably required.
Be prepared to work overtime when operationally necessary, especially during urgent deliveries, stock arrivals, stock takes or peak periods.
Establish and continuously improve warehouse SOPs, workflows, productivity and operational efficiency.
Identify recurring warehouse problems and implement corrective and preventive actions, rather than repeatedly relying on management to resolve them.
Ensure proper handling of high-value IT equipment and maintain accountability for warehouse assets and inventory.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, safety and security standards.
Monitor warehouse equipment and arrange maintenance or corrective action when required.
Provide regular reporting on inventory accuracy, pending orders, operational issues, stock discrepancies and warehouse performance.
Lead, coach and discipline warehouse team members where necessary, while building a responsible and productive team culture.
Perform other warehouse and logistics responsibilities required to ensure smooth overall operations.
Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably with supervisory or warehouse management responsibilities.
Strong hands-on knowledge of the complete warehouse process, including loading/unloading, receiving, GRN, put-away, picking, packing, dispatch, stock take and inventory control.
Experience managing warehouse staff and coordinating daily manpower.
Able to identify problems, make practical decisions and resolve different operational situations independently.
Familiar with inventory/ERP/warehouse management systems and proper warehouse documentation.
Strong attention to detail, especially for SKU, serial number, quantity and stock accuracy.
Good organizational, planning and time-management skills.
Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with different departments.
Experience handling IT products, electronics or serial-number-controlled inventory would be an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
5.5-day work week, including Saturday half-day.
The candidate must be willing to work overtime when required due to urgent shipments, stock arrivals, stock-taking exercises or unfinished critical operational tasks.
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership and accountability — not only someone who follows instructions, but someone who can take charge of the warehouse, anticipate problems, resolve issues and ensure daily operations are properly completed.
This role suits someone who thinks:
“The warehouse is under my responsibility. I know what is coming in, what is going out, what is pending, where the problems are, and I make sure things get done.”
