Job summary

Norel Nutrition Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a warehouse operative to verify quantities and conditions of goods against delivery documents and report shortages or damages. You will label incoming goods and manage storage, ensuring orderly stock and cleanliness across the warehouse.

In this role, you will assist with stock counts, packing, and preparation of shipments. You will help maintain accurate records and support safe unloading of bulk liquids, following all safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantities and condition of goods against delivery documents.
• Report any shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Labelling Incoming Goods
• Storage and Inventory Management
• Arrange and store products in designated locations.
• Maintain proper stock organization and housekeeping.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory audits.
• Picking and Packing
• Pick items according to customer orders or production requirements.
• Pack products securely for shipment.
• Label cartons and pallets correctly.
• Dispatch and Delivery Support
• Prepare goods for shipment.
• Load products onto trucks or containers.
• Ensure shipping documents are complete and accurate.
• Warehouse Documentation
• Update inventory records and warehouse systems.
• File receiving, delivery, and stock movement documents.
• Assist in preparing inventory and warehouse reports.
• Housekeeping and Safety
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Use warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jack, forklift if certified).
• Assist in receiving bulk liquid raw materials from tanker trucks.
• Perform pre-unloading checks on tanker documents, seals, and product identification.
• Assist in discharging liquid products from tankers into designated storage tanks (tank farm).
• Monitor unloading operations to ensure safe and correct product transfer.
• Record receiving quantities, tank levels, and unloading details.
• Conduct basic inspections of tanks, pipelines, pumps, and valves.
• Report any leaks, spills, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the tank farm and unloading area.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and quality procedures during liquid handling operations.
