Job summary

KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a logistics planner to oversee loading/unloading of import/export shipments and to plan movements of raw materials and ISO tanks. You will monitor pipelines, manage tank storage levels at external terminals, and keep accurate inventory records.

The role requires coordination with partners, training of staff, and adherence to SSHE rules, with responsibilities that include shipping document handling and daily problem resolution to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of planning, supply chain or logistics experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, warehousing, planning fundamentals, scheduling and shipping.
• Experience handling tanker, ISO tank, flexibag and bulk loading.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of import/export shipments (tankers, ISO tanks, flexibags, bulk cargo).
• Plan and track movement of raw material road tankers and ISO tanks with partners.
• Monitor transfers through pipelines and manage storage tank levels at outside terminals.
• Keep inventory records and reports up to date.
• Manage daily bulk product handling and storage at the tank farm.
• Communicate to send/receive shipping documents.
• Maintain clean, organized tank farm operations for smooth work.
• Check and confirm bulk shipments before release or receipt.
• Train new logistics staff on duties.
• Resolve daily logistics issues; report major ones to supervisor.
• Follow SSHE rules and company work procedures; take on extra tasks as assigned.

Job description

Oversee the loading and unloading of import/export shipments (tankers, ISO tanks, flexibags, bulk cargo, etc.)

Plan and track the movement of raw material road tanker and ISO tanks, both within the company and with outside partners.

Monitor and plan the transfer of materials through pipelines and manage storage tank levels at outside terminals.

Keep inventory records and reports up to date.

Responsible of daily bulk product handling and storage at the tank farm.

Communicate with everyone involved to send and receive shipping documents.

Keep the tank farm clean and organized so work runs smoothly.

Check and confirm bulk shipments before they are released or received.

Train new logistics staff on their job duties.

Try to solve problems that come up in daily logistics work; report bigger issues to a supervisor.

Follow SSHE rules, and the company's official work procedures when carrying out duties.

Take on extra tasks as assigned by a supervisor.

Job Success Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma or Degree in the related field.

At least 3 years relevant working experience in planning, supply chain or logistics environment.

Knowledge of SAP, warehousing, planning fundamentals, scheduling and shipping.

Knowledgeable & experienced in handling as tanker, ISO tank, flexibag, bulk loading, and etc.
