Job summary

Harvey Norman MY is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations nationwide in Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring accurate recording, stock takes preparation, and timely, accurate order processing while complying with SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy above 99.5%, expediting orders, completing daily paperwork, and coordinating transfers to showrooms as needed.

Qualifications

• Prepare for stock takes before actual stock take.
• Expedite orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete daily paperwork accurately.
• Protect inventory from pilferage, shortage and theft.
• Daily department operation planning and manpower management.
• Ensure efficient use of warehouse equipment and supplies.
• Comply with safety, hygiene and health standards.
• Ensure staff perform duties reliably.
• Check home delivery, ITN inbound and outbound processes.
• Manage service bay location (inbound/outbound) and sales by location.
• Coordinate transfers to showrooms and keep system updated.
• Advise admin staff on receiving bookings from suppliers.
• Monitor pending transactions and close them.
• Other duties assigned by Warehouse Management.

The Warehouse Assistant will assist in warehouse daily operations that all in-coming and out-going goods are properly and securely recorded, checked, stored before next process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere and comply with all KPIs, SOPs, Work Instructions and other company policies implemented. Any deviation of SOP-immediate action must be taken.
• Responsibility for inventory accuracy (above 99.5%) of respective department.
• Ensure stock take preparation done prior to actual stock take.
• Ensure and assist in the process that all orders are being expedited in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure all paperwork is completed daily and accurately.
• Take on the responsibilities for inventory accuracy, pilferage, shortage and theft.
• Daily planning on department operation and manpower.
• Ensure efficient use of warehouse equipment/ supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, hygiene and health standards/procedures.
• Ensure departmental personnel carry out their duties without fail.
• Ensure checking for home delivery, ITN inbound and outbound is done.
• Assist in managing the service bay location (inbound and outbound) and sold by location.
• Prepare and managed transfer (in and out) to (IBT) showrooms and ensure system updated accordingly.
• Advice admin staff on receiving booking from supplier.
• Closely monitor on all pending transactions and ensure the transactions (transfer, dummy) are closed.
• Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Warehouse Management / Company.
