The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of warehouse leadership experience, strong knowledge of WMS, inventory control, safety compliance and a proven ability to lead a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training and safety.
• Oversee daily operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through stock checks and cycle counts.
• Maintain KPI tracking for order accuracy, processing time and turnover.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement and sales for on-time fulfilment.
• Maintain and arrange repairs for warehouse equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regs.
• Optimise layout and processes to reduce waste and boost efficiency.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Leader to join UNITY TECH FOUNDRY SDN. BHD. in the Kulai District, Johor. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee warehouse operations within our manufacturing, transport and logistics division. As a Warehouse Leader, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, optimising storage and distribution processes, and ensuring our team operates at peak efficiency. This role is critical to our operational success and directly impacts our ability to meet customer expectations and support our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and safety compliance
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and cycle counts, and maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety procedures, protocols and standards in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage methods to maximise efficiency, reduce waste and improve workflow
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability whilst minimising carrying costs
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Maintain warehouse equipment and machinery in good working condition; arrange maintenance and repairs as necessary
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, processing time, inventory turnover and safety metrics
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse environment

What we’re looking for

• 3-5 years of warehouse management or warehouse leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment and logistics best practices
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling equipment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in warehouse management or logistics would be advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
