About the role MOD Integrated Logistics Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic warehousing and distribution team. This is a full-time position based in Meru, Selangor. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. You will work alongside experienced team members to ensure that goods are handled, stored and dispatched safely and accurately, contributing directly to the smooth functioning of our logistics operations and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Receiving, unpacking and inspecting incoming goods to verify quality, quantity and condition against purchase orders and delivery documentation

Sorting, organising and storing products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems and maintaining accurate inventory records

Preparing orders for shipment by picking items from inventory, packing them securely and labelling parcels with shipping information

Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently to move goods within the facility

Maintaining accurate records of stock movements, inventory levels and warehouse transactions using warehouse management systems

Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe by following housekeeping standards and identifying and reporting hazards or damaged goods

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and assisting with vehicle dispatch procedures

Assisting with stocktakes, inventory audits and cycle counts as required

Following all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment, or willingness to learn with on-the-job training

Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, carrying and moving goods of varying weights regularly throughout the shift

Familiarity with or willingness to obtain certification in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks

Ability to read and understand warehouse documentation including picking lists, delivery notes and inventory records

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory management

Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining consistent attendance and meeting deadlines

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions from supervisors and senior staff

Basic numeracy skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems or similar software is advantageous

Valid driving licence and willingness to assist with vehicle operations is a plus
