Job summary

Rakanda Enterprise in Klang, Selangor, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory, on-time order fulfilment, and safe, efficient processes.

You will manage inbound, putaway, picking, outbound activities, and lead a team, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with carriers. This full-time role requires minimum 3 years in warehouse operations and a Diploma/Degree.

Salary RM2,500 - RM3,500 per month plus EPF, Socso, EIS and medical claim.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in warehouse operations or management.
• SPM/Diploma/Degree required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Lead and oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfilment, smooth logistics flow, and effective team performance while maintaining safety and operational standards.

In this role, you will:

• Inbound & Receiving:
  • 1. Supervise unloading of inbound shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
  • 2. Ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods in the system.
• Putaway:
  • 1. Coordinate and monitor putaway processes to optimize storage efficiency and inventory accuracy.
  • 2. Ensure all items are stored in designated locations using WMS or inventory control systems.
• Order Picking & Packing:
  • 1. Oversee picking operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer orders.
  • 2. Ensure proper packing procedures are followed to prevent damage and meet customer expectations.
• Outbound & Shipping:
  • 1. Supervise preparation and staging of outbound shipments.
  • 2. Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Team Leadership:
  • 1. Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to maintain high levels of performance and morale.
  • 2. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Reporting & Inventory:
  • 1. Monitor KPIs related to warehouse operations (accuracy, efficiency, turnaround time).
  • 2. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Other responsibilities:
  • 3. Ensure operations comply with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
  • 4. Address and resolve any issues related to warehouse operations, including discrepancies, delays, or damages, in a timely and effective manner.
  • 5. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding operational challenges and improvements.
  • 6. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies in warehouse management.
  • 7. To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the employer or any other person by or under OSHA 1994 or any regulation made there under (section 24: General duties of employees at work, OSHA 1994)
  • 8. Ensure Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is inspected daily and used properly.
  • 9. Responsible to take care of company assets and ensure all are in a good condition.
  • 10. Strictly adhere to the Company Handbook and memo issued by Human Resources (HR).
  • 11. Any additional tasks as assigned by the superior.
