Job summary

MAYAIR in Kajang invites a Warehouse Executive (Contract Basis) to oversee daily receiving, storage, inventory control, picking and outbound logistics. You will ensure accurate stock records, proper documentation, and support improvements to raise efficiency and service levels.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related field, at least 5 years in warehouse ops, strong knowledge of WMS (SAP advantageous), and proven leadership with Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics or related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a warehouse executive role.
• Strong knowledge in warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Language proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure warehouse personnel adhere to material allocation and manage receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, and outbound activities.
• Monitor and ensure all movements of goods and transfers are updated in the system within 24 hours.
• Check incoming goods against specifications and store in designated locations within 24 hours.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and variance control.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee schedules for incoming/outgoing shipments and reconcile with delivery orders or checklists.
• Maintain and update all warehouse documentation per SOPs.
• Submit replenishment requests to Finance on time and track daily stock of key items.
• Lead supervisors and warehouse teams to achieve KPIs and service levels.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties and process improvement initiatives.

Job Description

• Ensure warehouse personnel adhere to the allocation of materials based on agreed floor plans and manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, and outbound activities.
• Monitor and ensure all physical movements of goods, including incoming and outgoing transactions and transfers between warehouses (MP1, MP2, Bernam Warehouse, PG, GFL and TCH), are updated in the system within 24 hours.
• Ensure all incoming goods are checked according to specifications and stored in designated warehouse locations within 24 hours or on the same day if necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting, stock reconciliation, variance control, and ensure stock cards are updated after each movement.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Monitor and implement schedules for incoming and outgoing shipments, including cross-checking physical items against supplier delivery orders or shipping checklists to prevent discrepancies.
• Ensure all warehouse documentation (Packing List, Supplier Delivery Orders, Transfer Orders, Customer Delivery Orders) are properly maintained and updated according to standard operating procedures.
• Verify and submit replenishment requests to Finance on time.
• Track replenishment for updated daily stock of 15 key items and raise requests to Business Relation & Purchasing for restocking if required.
• Update incoming goods and monitor stock movements at external warehouses (BRN, GFL & TCH).
• Support warehouse system enhancements, digitalization, and process improvement initiatives.
• Lead supervisors and operational teams to achieve operational KPIs and service level targets.
• Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

Must Have

• At least 5 years of working experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a warehouse executive role.
• Strong knowledge in warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock management.
