ABEST FOOD RESOURCES (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Store Assistant for our Seri Kembangan warehouse. This full-time role supports stock handling, packing, and dispatch to meet customer demand, while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, keep accurate stock records, and assist with inventories. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Formación

• Experience in warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proficiency operating standard warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines.
• Good physical fitness; able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow supervisor instructions.
• Basic numeracy skills for stock checks.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving and unloading incoming stock, verifying quantities and checking for damage or discrepancies.
• Organising and storing products in designated areas according to procedures.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with inventories and audits.
• Picking and packing orders for dispatch with accuracy and proper labelling.

About the role

ABEST FOOD RESOURCES (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a dedicated Store Assistant to join our warehousing and distribution operations in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our storage facilities. As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that stock is properly stored, tracked, and dispatched to meet our customers' demands. This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly contributes to the success of our food resources distribution network.

Key responsibilities

Receiving and unloading incoming stock, verifying quantities and checking for any damage or discrepancies

Organising and storing products in designated areas of the warehouse in accordance with established procedures

Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with inventory counts and audits

Picking and packing orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper labelling

Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and trolleys safely and efficiently

Keeping the warehouse environment clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety regulations

Assisting with general maintenance tasks and reporting any equipment faults or hazards

Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines

Following all company policies and procedures, including those relating to food safety and storage requirements

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in a warehouse, storage facility or similar logistics environment

Proficiency in operating standard warehouse equipment, particularly forklifts or pallet jacks

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Good physical fitness and capability to perform manual handling tasks

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors

Basic numeracy skills for inventory management and stock checking

Knowledge of food safety and storage requirements is desirable

Willingness to comply with health and safety standards at all times
