Job summary

Rakanda Enterprise is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage stock, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain safe warehouse operations at Pasaraya RAKAN Distribution Centre in Klang, Selangor. You will process inbound/outbound stock, pick/pack orders, and operate MHE as licensed.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in warehouse ops, strong attention to detail, and good communication. Full-time position with standard benefits in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma is required.
• At least 2 years in warehouse operations.
• Proficient in using stock control systems.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Able to operate MHE such as forklift where licensed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.

Job description

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing stock, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

In this role, you will:

• Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment (e.g, pallet jacks, forklift if licensed).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
• Label store, and track inventory using stock control systems.
• Assist with inventory control and stock rotation.
• Comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.
• To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health instituted by the employer or any other person by or under OSHA 1994 or any regulation made there under (section 24: General duties of employees at work, OSHA 1994.
• Ensure Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is inspected daily and used properly.
• Responsible to take care of company assets and ensure all are in a good condition.
• Strictly adhere to the Company Handbook and memo issued by Human Resources (HR).
• Any additional tasks as assigned by the superior.
