Job summary

SHARIKAT TA KIONG SDN BHD is seeking a responsible Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in Kuching, Sarawak. The role involves receiving, picking, packing, labeling and dispatching goods, while maintaining stock integrity and safety.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team. Overtime work may be required; training and career development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, picking, packing or stock-handling experience is an added advantage.
• Able to read and understand picking lists, invoices and delivery documents.
• Physically fit and able to handle warehouse duties.
• Willing to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect incoming goods.
• Pick and prepare goods according to invoices, picking lists or delivery orders.
• Check product descriptions, quantities and conditions before packing.
• Pack, label and arrange goods properly for delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods from company vehicles.
• Arrange stock neatly according to designated warehouse locations.
• Assist with stock counts and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Ensure all warehouse documents and stock movements are recorded.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and good housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Cooperate with Store Head, checkers, drivers and warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched on time.

• Assist with stock counts and report any stock discrepancies, shortages or damaged goods immediately.
• Ensure all warehouse documents and stock movements are properly recorded.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and good housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Cooperate with the Store Head, checkers, drivers and other warehouse team members to ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time.
