Job summary

Focus Insight Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a Machine Vision Development / Optical Design Engineer (ODE) to lead optical product design and development. The role covers designing optical systems, lenses, cameras and light sources, plus coordinating with clients to ensure solutions meet technical specs.

The candidate should have strong optics knowledge and the ability to independently tackle technical challenges, collaborating with teams and communicating in English and Chinese.

Machine Vision Development / Optical Design Engineer (ODE) 视觉开发工程师 (机器视觉)

Job Responsibilities：

• Responsible for optical product design and development, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and performance requirements (familiar with optical lenses, cameras, light sources). 负责光学产品的设计与开发，确保产品满足技术规格与性能要求。（熟悉光学镜头，相机、光源）
• Solve optical-related issues in the product development process, including light distribution design and customer communication. 解决产品开发过程中光学相关问题，包括但不限于配光设计与客户对接
• Conduct product testing to ensure compliance with quality standards. 进行产品测试，确保产品质量符合标准
• Prepare and submit product development reports. 编写并提交产品开发报告
• Cooperate with on-site delivery requirements without conflict with clients, demonstrate proactive work ethic and strong sense of responsibility 服从安排，配合项目交付，不和客户起冲突，工作积极，有责任心

Job Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of optics and product design capability. 具备良好的光学知识和产品设计能力
• Ability to independently solve technical challenges in optical product development. 能够独立解决光学产品开发过程中的技术难题
• Strong teamwork spirit and communication skills. 具有良好的团队合作精神和沟通能力
• Capable of completing project requirements efficiently. 能够高效完成项目要求
• Possess strong communication skills, a high sense of responsibility, and a collaborative team spirit 具有良好的沟通能力，工作责任心强，具备较强的抗压能力和团队合作精神
• Hardworking and resilient, able to adapt to business travel and overtime 具备高度责任感和交付意识，能适应加班和出差或外勤工作环境
• Minimum 3 years of ODE experiences and familiarity 3 年以上 ODE 经验
• Short notice period preferred (Immediate starters or candidates with 1-to-2-month notice). 优先考虑通知期短的候选人（1-2 个月内为佳）。
• Strong proficiency in Chinese and English to effectively communicate with Chinese speaking stakeholders and technical teams. 精通中英双文，能与中文母语利益相关者及技术团队高效沟通。

Attractive Salary & Benefits Package

• Basic Salary: RM7.5K up to RM10K+ (Negotiable; Commensurate with technical competency and experience)
• Fixed Transport Allowance: RM300 per month
• Extra Allowances: minimum RM200 per month
