Job summary

Hikrobot in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a technically skilled specialist in machine vision and automation to assist sales by evaluating project feasibility, testing functions, and communicating demand. You will feed back product and technical requirements to R&D, support overseas exhibitions, and provide guidance, FAQs and operation videos.

A bachelor degree or above in automation, electromechanical, photoelectric or related field with 3+ years' experience is required; English and Mandarin are

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in automation, electromechanical, photoelectric or related science and engineering.
• At least three years in machine vision / industrial automation / image processing tech consulting.
• Optical and electrical foundations with knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Good logical thinking,Coordination, communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin preferred for effective communication.
• Willingness to travel overseas; prior overseas work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales to evaluate project feasibility, test product function, assess solutions and communicate demand.
• Respond to the customer's technical consultation during the test, and deal with problems of machine vision hardware and software.
• Feed back product and technical requirements to R&D, and follow up customization projects.
• Deal with customers' after-sales RMA problems, and conduct quality retrospective communication.
• Enable foreign colleagues and customers, and output technical guidance, FAQ and operation videos.
• Responsible for the technical work of overseas exhibitions, including coordinating materials, debugging and providing other support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above, major in automation, electromechanical, photoelectric or related science and engineering;
• At least three years of relevant working experience in machine vision, industrial automation, image processing industry technology consulting.
• Have a certain optical and electrical foundation, and be familiar with at least one programming language.
• Have good logical thinking, organizational coordination and communication skills, and good team spirit.
• Good communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin for effective internal communication.
• Willing to accept overseas business trip. Previous overseas working experience is preferred.
