Job summary

Tec D Malaysia, a TD SYNNEX Company, seeks a Category Leader to maximise vendor profit and drive mutually agreed revenue goals. You will manage a group of technologies and maintain the vendor relationship, driving autonomous business activities to grow TD SYNNEX and vendor business.

You will lead strategy, develop business plans, and oversee sales enablement and joint initiatives with partners, ensuring proactive engagement and quarterly reviews. Strong leadership and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma; minimum relevant experience in IT distribution preferred.
• At least 6 years' experience in outbound account management or business development.
• Vendor product certifications and a solid channel/partner network understanding.
• Strong leadership, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and owns the overall vendor strategy for TD SYNNEX across assigned vendors.
• Manages profit and loss for current and new vendors; drives revenue targets.
• Onboards new vendors and sustains vendor relationships until growth warrants a P&L separation.
• Collaborates with executives to profile vendors and determine relationship ownership.
• Creates quarterly business reviews and aligns plans with stakeholders.
• Implements sales enablement programs and marketing events supporting vendor objectives.
• Leads recruitment of new partners and coaches sales teams to close deals.
