Job summary

DK MOTOR SDN BHD in Perak, Malaysia, invites applications for a front-liner customer service role in our vehicle service and used-car operations. You will greet walk-in customers, provide high-level service, gather info, and coordinate repairs with our workshop teams.

Responsibilities include issuing job orders, tracking progress, preparing repair estimates, handling billing, and following up on customer satisfaction and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.

Responsibilities

• Issue job orders, monitor repair progress in body & paint workshop, update job control board and conduct final inspection before release.
• Prepare estimates for repair works, allocate labor charges and ensure correct parts charges for final billing and prompt cash collection.
• Promote service and parts packages and follow up on spare parts back orders.
• Liaise with insurance companies, customers and sub-let contractors for sublet works and ensure all charges are accounted for.
• Prepare workshop daily sales/collection reports and update customer database.
• Conduct after-service follow-up and survey customer satisfaction, and inform customers of next maintenance date.
• Carry out duties as instructed by the Company and maintain workplace housekeeping.
• We sell and purchase used cars with integrity and efficiency.

Responsible to act as front-liner in handling of appointment and walk-in customers and to provide high level of customer service to the customers by attending to their needs and queries and to monitor the progress of works done on customer's vehicles.

Key responsibilities

Attend to customers and provide technical information and sound advice and identify customers' needs and technical problems

Issue job orders, check on progress of repair works in the body & paint workshop, update of job control board and conduct final inspection prior to releasing the cars to the customers at the promised time

Prepare estimation cost on repair works and allocated labor charges and ensure correct parts charges for final billing and be responsible for prompt collection of cash payments from customers

Promote other service and parts package / campaign so as to achieve set targets and follow-up on spare parts back order

Liaise with insurance companies, customers and sub-let contractors for sublet works, accident repairs and ensure all charges are accounted for and charge out to customers accordingly and that the profit margin is attained

Prepare workshop daily sales / collection reports, technical reports and update of the customers' data-base as required

Responsible for after-service follow-up, survey with customers for degree of satisfaction and inform the customers the date of the next scheduled maintenance and inspection

Carry out any duties and job functions as instructed by the Company or person acting on behalf of the Company

Maintain good housekeeping and up-keep of the work place according to the standards set
