Job summary

Carro, Southeast Asia's largest online automotive marketplace, is seeking a Valuer/Pricing Executive in Malaysia to evaluate vehicle values and optimize profitability across Retail. You will handle sell inquiries from diverse sources and provide competitive pricing based on accurate data.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree and advantages for candidates with automotive industry experience and Mandarin proficiency. Carro offers a competitive package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Few years’ automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Familiar with new car market supplies, offers and discounts is an advantage.
• English and Malay language skills are required; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the value of vehicles accurately.
• Ensure purchased vehicles can be resold at a profit and allocated to Retail with profitability.
• Handle and analyze incoming sell inquiries from various sources (Sales Team, private sellers, agents, corporate clients, walk-ins, dealers).
• Provide competitive pricing based on inquiries and market data.
• Identify cars by brand, model, variant and changes.
• Gather information on new car market, stock, discounts and model changes.
• Study and analyze trends in the used car market.

About your role

Evaluate the value of vehicles accurately.

Ensure that purchased vehicles can be resold at a profit and allocated to Retail with profitability.

Handle and analyze incoming "sell" inquiries from various sources, including the Sales Team, private sellers, agents, corporate clients, walk-ins, and dealers.

Provide competitive pricing based on accurate information from inquiries.

Identify cars accurately by brand, model, variant, and model changes.

Gather information on the new car market, including stock availability, discounts, and news about model changes.

Study and analyze trends in the used car market.

Requirements

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in any fields.

Qualification: Few years’ experience in Automotive Industry is an added advantage.

Familiar with new car market supplies, offer, discount factor will be advantage

Required Language(s): English and Malay or others dialect is an added advantage

Discipline: Punctual, result driven & good working attitude

Skills: Microsoft Office, Advance Computer Skills, and basic with Google Drive functions.

Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin will have an added advantage due to the nature of our regional business.
