Job summary

TVC Transport & Supply Chain (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a responsible Truck Operations Executive to coordinate daily trucking activities, driver arrangements and vehicle administration from our Glenmarie, Selangor base.

You will ensure smooth operations, timely deployment, and accurate recording of trip-related expenses and documents. The role requires 1–3 years in trucking or logistics, a related diploma, and proficiency in Excel/MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Transportation or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trucking or logistics operations.
• Experience in truck scheduling and driver coordination is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily truck scheduling, allocation and dispatch.
• Arrange drivers and trucks according to shipment requirements.
• Manage driver trip records and expenses with Accounts.
• Arrange regular truck servicing and maintenance.
• Monitor truck movements, delays and breakdowns.
• Prepare monthly fuel, toll and driver allowance summaries.
• Maintain vehicle documentation and permits, including Singapore GVP.
• Ensure all truck and driver records are up-to-date and properly filed.

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and organised Truck Operations Executive to coordinate daily trucking activities, driver arrangements and vehicle administration.

The successful candidate will ensure smooth truck operations, timely vehicle deployment, proper driver coordination and accurate management of trip-related expenses and vehicle documentation.

What you'll be doing

A. Daily Truck Operations

Coordinate daily truck scheduling, allocation and dispatch.

Arrange drivers and trucks according to shipment requirements.

Coordinate with drivers on collection, loading, delivery and unloading arrangements.

Monitor truck movements and delivery progress.

Handle operational issues, truck breakdowns and delivery delays.

Arrange replacement trucks or subcontractors when required.

Maintain daily truck movement and trip records.

B. Driver & Trip Administration

Calculate driver trip allowances, stipends and overtime.

Calculate and verify fuel and toll expenses.

Check driver expense claims and supporting receipts.

Maintain driver attendance, trip and allowance records.

Coordinate with Accounts for expense submissions and processing.

C. Vehicle Administration & Maintenance

Arrange regular truck servicing and maintenance.

Coordinate vehicle repairs and workshop appointments.

Monitor road tax, insurance and vehicle permit expiry dates.

Coordinate Singapore Goods Vehicle Permit (GVP) applications and renewals.

Maintain vehicle registration and maintenance records.

D. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain updated truck and driver records.

Prepare monthly fuel, toll and driver allowance summaries.

Maintain vehicle maintenance and inspection records.

Report truck breakdowns, maintenance issues and operational delays.

Ensure all relevant vehicle and operational documents are properly filed.

What we're looking for

Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in trucking, transportation or logistics operations.

Experience in truck scheduling and driver coordination is preferred.

Basic knowledge of PUSPAKOM inspections, vehicle maintenance and Singapore GVP is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and handle daily operational tasks.

Responsible, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
