Job summary

PETER STUYVESANT TRAVEL SDN. BHD in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive growth by identifying and qualifying new prospects in travel, hospitality, and technology sectors.

You will generate leads, schedule meetings, and maintain a healthy pipeline while collaborating with the sales team to hit targets. Local Malaysians only; 1–3 years inside sales experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Open for local Malaysians.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
• Around 1–3 years of experience in inside sales, telesales, lead generation, or business development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident in outbound prospecting and engaging new customers.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
• Experience in the travel, hospitality, or technology industry is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects, maintain accurate records, and work effectively towards targets.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new business leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Identify potential travel agencies, corporate customers, resellers, Travel Management Companies, Online Travel Agencies, and business partners.
• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for the sales team.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update CRM records.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Support sales campaigns, events, and customer follow-ups.
• Work closely with the sales team to achieve business growth targets.
• Track outreach activities, lead progress, and conversion opportunities to support accurate sales forecasting.
