Transportation / Logistics Operation Manager
Responsibilities
  • Partner with 4PL (LLP) to oversee day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective movement of goods across all routes and modes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound transportation activities to meet customer delivery requirements and department performance goals.
  • Manage carrier relationships and ensure compliance with service‑level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize freight capacity, reduce transit times, and improve delivery performance.
  • Monitor transport performance metrics such as on‑time delivery, cost, and quality, and prepare regular operational reports to share with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Collaborate with supply‑chain partners like commodity managers and purchasing teams to streamline logistics processes and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and support digital transformation initiatives in logistics operations.
Required Skills
