Job summary

DKSH Group in Klang, Malaysia, is seeking a Transport Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day dispatch activities, fleet planning, and vendor service commitments to ensure timely deliveries at minimum cost.

You will coordinate resources, manage transport schedules and leverage TMS and SAP WM to optimize routes, monitor performance, and implement preventive actions. Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics with 1–3 years’ experience preferred; fluency in local language and English is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma/certificate in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in transport or logistics roles.
• Solid understanding of warehousing, distribution, transport, inventory and end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Experience with transport operation day-to-day running and network design concepts.
• Working knowledge of TMS and SAP WM modules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day despatch operations and local transport planning.
• Coordinate fleet utilization, route planning and vendor commitments.
• Prepare transport schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage resources including manpower, vehicles and drivers.
• Resolve vendor issues and ensure contractual service levels.
• Optimize truck capacity and cost per delivery unit.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventive actions.
• Utilize TMS for scheduling, data management and reporting.
• Provide solutions to operational challenges to boost productivity.
• Handle customer inquiries related to delivery and invoicing.
