Job summary

Gloo is seeking an experienced training specialist to design and deliver programmes that close skill gaps and support talent retention. The role involves updating materials, running soft skills and product trainings, and coordinating on-job training across retail teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong presentation and analytical abilities, be capable of independent interaction at all levels, and be willing to travel nationwide within Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting training programmes with supervisory mentoring and coaching.
• Outstanding presentation, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and interact with people at different levels.
• High level of analytical, problem solving skills and strategic thinking.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• This position requires extensive travelling within Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis to identify knowledge gaps and ensure effectiveness.
• Formulate training programmes aligned with organizational goals and talent retention.
• Perform soft skills and product training.
• Update training syllabus and materials to keep pace with technology.
• Organise, plan, execute and improve training programs.
• Coordinate on-job training to boost IT knowledge, selling and customer service in retail teams.
• Monitor progress of new hires and existing staff after training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive quality improvements.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly training reports.

• Conduct training needs analysis on a regular basis to identify the knowledge and skill gaps and ensure the training effectiveness
• Responsible for formulating training programmes that are aligned with the organizational goals and support talent retention
• Perform softskill and product training
• Responsible to update training syllabus and materials in align with constantly changing technology environment
• Organise, plan, execute and improve training program
• Actively store visitation to conduct on-job-training and ensure exceptional IT knowledge, selling and customer service skills in retail sales teams
• Monitoring and reviewing the progress of new hire and existing staff after provided training
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes to improve the quality of training provided
• Preparing daily, weekly/monthly training reports

Requirements:

• Experience in conducting training programmes and possesses supervisory experience in mentoring and coaching
• Outstanding presentation, strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Able to work independently and ability to interact with people at different levels
• High level of analytical, problem solving skills and strategic thinking
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• This position requires extensive travelling within Malaysia
