Job summary

Bonia is seeking an Executive, Retail Trainer (Learning & Development) to oversee training from onboarding to product and brand training across retail outlets and corporate teams.

The role requires coordinating training schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring consistent customer experience aligned with brand standards. Travel to retail boutiques will be required to support continuous improvement and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, HR or related.
• Professional qualification in Training & Development will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of training & development experience in retail or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage HRD Corp (HRDF) claims, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate training schedules, attendance materials, and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate training records, reports, and training cost tracking.
• Liaise with internal teams, trainers, and external training providers.
• Coordinate and conduct onboarding programs for new retail and corporate hires.
• Deliver modules on company culture, service standards, and basic operations.
• Ensure consistent onboarding experience across outlets and departments.
• Collect feedback and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support development and delivery of product training programs.
• Ensure accurate product knowledge aligned with brand standards.
• Coordinate product training for new launches, campaigns, and seasonal collections.
• Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and operations teams.
• Deliver brand-led customer service training aligned with company values and service standards.
• Train frontline teams on customer engagement, service etiquette, and brand experience.
• Reinforce service behaviours through role-play, observation, and coaching support.
• Support consistency of customer experience across all touchpoints.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related.
• Professional qualification in Training & Development will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of training & development experience in retail or similar industry.
• Good presentation skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to influence and motivate others.
• Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working within the team and with all levels of management and retail boutique team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / Powerpoint).
• Digital learning knowledge, good analytical organisational skills.
• Able to travel and visit our retail boutiques when required.
