Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a frontline sales and customer service candidate for our retail team in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle transactions, assist shoppers, and contribute to a clean, organized store environment.

Experience in retail or hospitality is a plus; training will be provided for POS systems and cash handling. A collaborative team environment and positive attitude are valued for promotion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Internship or part-time retail experience will be considered.
• Basic POS operation and cash handling skills required.
• Good customer service and communication abilities essential.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Exposure to merchandising or visual displays is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service and sales support.
• Operate POS systems and process transactions.
• Assist customers with product selection and information.
• Support stock receiving, tagging, restocking and merchandising.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of retail space.
• Assist during promotions and events; escalate issues as needed.

• Diploma in Business, Retail, Tourism, or a related field.

Experience

• 1-2 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Internship or part-time retail experience will be considered.
• Experience in tourism, lifestyle, or cultural retail is an advantage.
• Basic POS operation and cash handling skills.
• Good customer service and communication abilities.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Exposure to merchandising or visual displays is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide frontline customer service and sales support.
• Operate POS systems and process cash/e-payment transactions.
• Assist customers with product selection and basic product information.
• Support stock receiving, tagging, restocking, and merchandise organization.Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the retail space.
• Assist during promotions, campaigns, and retail events.
• Escalate POS, stock, or customer service issues to supervisors.
