Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of fresh departments including produce, meat, seafood and bakery sections.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation and waste reduction to maximize profitability and minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure all fresh merchandise meets quality standards and is displayed attractively to promote sales.
• Monitor food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Train, supervise and motivate fresh department staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to achieve departmental targets and KPIs.
• Manage supplier relationships and coordinate deliveries to ensure consistent product availability.
• Conduct regular price checks and ensure accurate labelling and promotional signage throughout the department.

Trading Manager Fresh (Puchong Selangor)

About the role
Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Trading Manager Fresh to join our team at Lotus’s Puchong. This is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the Fresh category, including fresh produce, meat, seafood and bakery. As Trading Manager Fresh, you will be responsible for driving the overall performance of the Fresh business, including merchandise quality, availability, presentation, sales and profitability. You will work closely with store teams and relevant stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and deliver an exceptional fresh product experience to our customers. This position plays an important role in ensuring that our Fresh departments consistently meet business targets, quality standards and customer expectations.

Oversee the daily operations of fresh departments including produce, meat, seafood and bakery sections

What we're looking for
