Job summary

Axiom is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Manager of SEA, based in Prai, Penang, to design, implement and oversee total rewards strategies that attract and retain top talent across multiple sites.

You will lead TR initiatives, benchmark against market data, and partner with executives to drive performance, equity, and cost governance while ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
• 10+ years of professional management/direction experience in compensation and benefits in MNC
• Experience with market data resources (Mercer, Hewitt, WTW)

• Design and deliver a multi-pronged Total Rewards communication strategy.
• Strengthen total rewards programs to drive performance, engagement and retention.
• Provide functional leadership in Total Rewards for HR strategy delivery.

Job Summary General Purpose:

Develop, improve, and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with Business strategies and ensure the total rewards programs can attract and retain the required talents in the market at all levels. Investigate total rewards related issues and propose solutions in a proactive and creative approach. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Compensation & Benefits Manager of SEA located in Prai, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

Design and deliver a multi-pronged Total Rewards (TR) communication strategy that will enable effective application of existing TR tools and processes across the organization. Design initiatives that will strengthen the effectiveness of total rewards programs in driving performance, attraction, engagement, and retention of the workforce. Provide functional leadership in Total Rewards to a composite team working to deliver HR strategy and support business success. Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in business partnership. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior management and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong project management, process management, analytical and consulting skills. Judgment, initiative, and tenacity demonstrated in an environment of rapid change. Effective verbal and written communication skills accompanied by cultural sensitivity. Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills. Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses. Demonstrates mastery of using market data resources and network for reports, methodologies, and findings to support TR projects and proposals, e.g. Mercer, Hewitt, WTW, or local market data supplier. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Demonstrated ability to protect and maintain data privacy. Makes Total Rewards decisions for the functions and the business segment in scope. Decisions may affect multiple sites/ segments.
